By now I guess those who are excited over R1 would have seen it... some thoughts after watching on premier day:
1) Stormtroopers can shoot quite well...
2) They started shooting badly when the force is strong...
3) There's always some bro-mance between opposites, this time is Churrit Imwe (Ip Man) & Baze... and the combi is always formidable.
4) Darth Vader & Churrit showed that even with serious disabilities, they are fearsome warriors...
5) Darth Vader do take time-off to soak in a tub...
6) Shows where Imperial folks got the "energy crystal" for their Death Star (DS-1)...
7) How the "A New Hope" came about... & how the DS-1's plans got into the hands of Princess Leia & the Rebel Alliance...
8) Women goes places... and are natural leaders...
9) R1 by itself without being a Star Wars spin-off story might not have create the hype... and Donnie Yen would be the only attraction at least for me...
