Cocoa Butter for Stretch Marks

Proper usage of Cocoa Butter is one of the best way to reduce stretch marks other than going for expensive laser treatment. Recently, I'm very amazed at the effects when my wife tried an US brand - Palmer's.

Palmer's cocoa butter contains cocoa butter, vitamin E, collagen and elastin which help to lubricate and moisturiser the skin. This is meant to help with the dryness that you can get with stretch marks associated with pregnancy.

The cream has a very chocolatey smell almost like white chocolate which is due to the cocoa butter. Its quite a thick cream that initially feels slightly greasy however when you apply it to the skin it is very easily absorbed. It leaves your skin feeling very supple and nourished without leaving any greasy residue. I had started to get a couple of small dry patches which is probably due to the bump getting bigger however after a few applications of the cream the dry patches have disappeared.

MS Outlook 2011 replaces "Entourage" for Mac

The newly launched (26 October) Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac has restored the email program naming for Mac back to "Outlook" instead the decade old "Entourage". 

Other than Entourage 2001, the rest of Microsoft's office productivity suite for Mac OS has always been consistant in using the same naming convention as their Windows platform counter-part. i.e. MS Word, MS Excel & MS Powerpoint. The naming for MS Office for mac platform is also "n+1" i.e. MS Word 2001 vs MS Word 2000, MS Excel 2008 vs MS Office 2007. Thus, now MS Office 2011 (Mac) vs MS Office 2010 (Windows)

Even though the mac office suite offering is from Microsoft, there are occasional incompatibility like differences in font-type causing slight misalignment of documents & email attachment ("winmail.dat" encoding issues). Also, it's an extremely tedious affair migrating windows Outlook ".PST" files to Entourage for mac.

With Outlook 2011 for Mac, now all the Windows users can export their mail data to the Mac platform with ease...

 In addition, Office 2011 supports online collaboration tools such as Windows Live SkyDrive and Office Web Apps, allowing Mac and Windows users to simultaneously edit documents over the web.[9]

Before Social Network Movie there was Pirates of Silicon Valley (PoSV) which was highly under-rated & wasn't marketed as well as the former when it debuted on the silver screen.

Fire Alarm at Pinnacle at Duxton Blk 1G

The fire alarm at Blk 1G of Pinnacle @ Duxton was triggered at around 10pm on Thursday night. This alarm immediately alerted the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) to the scene within 10mins.

It seems to be a false alarm or the fire had subsided

Those SCDF folks at 24th storey "radioed" that they couldn't locate the reported smoke/fire

Likely to be a false alarm but the lifts has been stopped...a handful of the residence staying at Blk 1G were stuck at the ground floor...
